Estelite COLOR from Tokuyama Dental is a flowable, light-cured material for adding individualized characterization to direct and indirect composite restorations.

For the incisal edge:

  • Blue – for "young" teeth;
  • Clear – for characterizing inter-mamelon spaces;
  • White – for characterizing mamelons, simulating hypoplasia and fluorosis white spots;
  • Gray – to enhance the translucency of the incisal edge of "mature" enamel;
  • Lavender – to simulate wear facets in elderly patients.

For occlusal surfaces:

  • Ochre – to highlight small depressions;
  • Dark-Brown – fissures and cracks, intensive staining of lines;
  • Lavender – to simulate wear facets in elderly patients.

To enhance dentin color saturation:

  • Yellow , Ochre , Red  – can be mixed in various proportions;
  • White – for direct bleach veneers.

To increase the translucency of other stains:

  • Clear – in combination with another shade.

For gingival simulation: Red

Opaque shades for masking discolorations (help block color changes):

  • Low Chroma Opaque (LCO) – low-intensity opaque for shade range A1, B1, C1, and bleached teeth:
  • Medium Chroma Opaque (MCO) – medium-intensity opaque for shade range A2, B2, D2, C2:
  • High Chroma Opaque (HCO) – high-intensity opaque for shade range A3, B3, D3, C3, and darker.

Shade that neutralizes "greyness": Pink Opaque.

Application method:

  • Carefully apply Estelite COLOR using a fine-tipped instrument or a thin brush to the area requiring characterization of the tooth's anatomical feature. Maximum layer thickness – 0.5 mm (Dark-Brown – 0.05 mm).
  • Light cure for 30 seconds
  • Estelite COLOR is applied under or between layers of the composite restoration. This protects the stain from wear and creates a beautiful optical effect.
